Happy 9 Years!

Yey! Cheers for the 9 years of blogging!

Last March 20, 2016 marks the ninth year of my blog’s existence. Yeah, first time to celebrate it and don’t even know how to but for a bit of entertainment, let’s check back how this blog evolved during those years.

I started out this blog during my high school years when Friendster and being “online” is the trend. I started as glenchi.blogspot.com, “glenchi” is how my Math teacher pronounces my name. Most of my posts are like daily blogs and I’m writing into an online diary and I hate to say this but, my writing was super “jejemon”. – sticky caps, shortened words, it was like I was texting. Oh no! Don’t even dare to check back the archives. I didn’t delete it, (some I did because I found it sensitive) or revert it to draft because I’d like to retain the authenticity of this blog.

I used to blog at Multiply, then I transitioned to Blogger. I also opened an account at WordPress. I basically open accounts everywhere.

Ugh! That jeje caption!
There was a long time when I didn’t open this blog, it was when I was in my 3rd and 4th year college and I have to dip my head in the monitor, studies was my priority. I just got back to blogging after I graduated.

Doing nonsense recaps

First post after a long time was of course, an update from the humble owner. I was now in the corporate turned jungle world. I was still making my out to the beach and into the ocean. I knew that I like posting travel experiences after our trip to Cebu.

Our first getaway at Bantayan Island Cebu

I don’t know if I’m the photobomber or not. See this post
Salty me. I’d love to record these wonderful experiences so I opted to transition to a travel blog. I know I cannot be compared to those famous and veterans in travel blogging. If you would search for a destination, my post would probably be listed on page 15 and above in google. But I didn’t care, all I want was to record my own experience and share it and I didn’t mean to earn from it.

Now I got the name Life Archives for this blog. It is because aside from the travel stories, my blog became an outlet for my inner thoughts and feelings. Most of which are nonsense obviously to others.:P But hell will I care, it’s my site. I can post anything to it. Wahahar!

As you can see, my blog’s journey is not interesting but for sure in the future, it will be a collection of my experiences that I, and hopefully the others, will enjoy reading.

Cheers to happy blogging!

PS: I would like to do an anniversary giveaway, but due to the number of viewers, which I’m not aware if there’s even one, I hesitated. Message me if you’d love to have a giveaway from this blog. J
